Government Funding Eligibility (SA)

  • Eligibility criteria are set by the SA Government and may change.
    Visit mytraining.skills.sa.gov.au or contact Milcom to confirm your eligibility before enrolling.

Basic Eligibility

You may be eligible for government-funded training if you live or work in South Australia AND are:

  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen, OR
  • A permanent Australian resident, OR
  • An eligible visa holder (see list below)

Age Requirements

Adults:16+ years and not enrolled at schoolStudents:16+ in Year 11-13 doing SACE, OR Year 10-12 with a Training Contract

In South Australia, approved training providers can offer courses with government support through Skills SA. This means the South Australian Government contributes towards the cost of tuition for eligible students.

Some additional costs may still apply, such as learning materials, uniforms, equipment, or student services. Any fees will be clearly explained prior to enrolment
